2nd Day: Transfer to the Izekeryu area, ascent to the 'Stone House.'

We prepare for departure, packing food and belongings for transportation by horses (you can send all climbing gear and items that won't be needed during the trek). We will drive to the Izekeryu area on the banks of the Kucherlinskaya River, and then follow the river upstream. After that, the trail ascends steeply to the watershed ridge between Akkem and Kucherlins, with a 4-5 hour hike up to the hut nestled on the slope by the spring, built from stones.

3rd Day: Ascent to the Kara-Tyurek Pass (3060 m, category 1A), descent to Akkem Lake

Movement forward along the ridge with small ascents to hills and descents into hollows; the trail is boggy in places. After about 3-4 hours, we reach the Kara-Tyurek Pass saddle, where a pass marker is installed, adorned with ritual colorful ribbons. In good weather, the pass offers a breathtaking view of the entire Belukha massif and the surrounding peaks, as well as the Mushtu-Airy massif located in the upper reaches of the Kucherlinskaya show more

4th Day: Arrival at the Tomsk Campsites

The Tomsk Campsites are located at the headwaters of the Akkem Glacier, beneath the northern wall of Belukha. This day is one of the most challenging and strenuous days of the entire route. We will cover about 13 kilometers and gain an elevation of 1000 meters.
The trail follows the shore of the lake and then approaches the bed of the Akkem River through a boggy valley, which is crossed by a rather extravagant footbridge. After that, we ascend to the moraine that blocks the upper lake, gradually gaining show more

5th Day. Glacier Training and Practice Ascent

"The glacier located in the cirque of the peaks Delone, Titov, and Arthur is called \"Watermelon\" due to its shape resembling the well-known berry. On its slope, we will conduct training sessions on ice movement techniques: ascending and descending on a fixed rope, traversing sections with horizontally fixed rope, transitioning at сlimbing stations, and self-arresting during a fall. We will also ascend Mount Tomsk Students to practice movement in teams and navigate rocky sections.

6th Day: Ascent to Delone Pass, Setting up the High Camp

We traverse the Watermelon Glacier and approach Delone Pass, which is crossed using fixed lines (6 ropes). We set up the high camp on the upper field of the Mensu Glacier, just below the pass. After that, we rest and prepare for the summit push.

7th Day. Ascent to Mount Belukha

Today's Objective:
Ascend to Delone Peak. The route traverses a rocky ridge with two key sections consisting of snow-covered and ice-coated rock walls. Movement is conducted in teams, with certain sections using fixed lines. The difficulty of the ascent is rated at 3B.

From the summit, we continue onward and descend to the col between Delone and Belukha. We then ascend the snow ridge to the eastern summit of Belukha. Access to the main show more

8th Day. Descent to Akkem Lake

Returning to the Base Camp at Akkem Lake, the descent may take from 5 to 7 hours, depending on the condition of the group, the amount of snow, and the weather conditions. In the evening, there will be a sauna and relaxation in the 'green zone' by the lake.

9th-10th Days. Reserve Days

Reserve days are planned in case of bad weather, as well as for rest after the ascent and for radial trips in the surroundings of Akkem Lake. You can take a walk to the Yarlu Valley to admire the colorful rocks and edelweiss or swim in the clear waters of the Valley of Seven Lakes.

11th Day. Descent along the Akkem River Valley to the Three Birches campsite, transfer to Tyungur

The journey comes to an end, and it's time to return. The descent follows a trail that alternates between approaching the water and running along the shore, then climbing up the slope and 'jumping' up and down to overcome the terrain's folds. By evening, we will descend to the 'Three Birches' campsite at the lower reaches of the Akkem River, which takes 7-9 hours. Here, the local residents have organized a café and a shop. From here, we will depart to Tyungur on a off-road vehicle GAZ-66 through the Kuzuyak Pass.
